What Adults Can Learn From Children
Jun 01, 2017
Children are great at living in the moment. They have a natural curiosity about the world they live in. They are discovering the world in the moment. There is no past or present links with things. They don’t already have pre-formed judgements of things and place things in metaphorical boxes.
Which means they are not approaching things with a fixed point of view or prior judgement.
They see things with fresh innocent eyes. ‘Just asking what is it?’‘How does it work?’‘What does it mean?’
We can learn a lot from this innocent approach that children have. It doesn’t mean we dismiss all the prior learning that we’ve experienced and approach every situation in the way a 4 year old would, as it would be thwart with danger!
However, when we look at the innocence of a child from the point of view of living in the moment and spontaneously being present in the now. It is a characteristic that we can all learn from.
So, let your natural curiosity run away with you and live NOW and stay present in the moment.
